Does it change the speed or the pitch?
No. The sound is played in the opposite order at the same speed, so the length stays the same.
Reverse Audio

How to Reverse Audio
- Open your file in the audio editor. The Reverse tool is chosen on the left.
- To reverse only a part, drag across the waveform to select it. With nothing selected, the whole file is reversed.
- Press Reverse, then play it to hear it backwards.
- Press the save button at the top right (Save MP3, Save WAV or Save M4A).
Questions
Can I reverse just one word?
Yes. Zoom in, select the word and press Reverse. The edges of the selection blend over a hundredth of a second, so there is no click.
How do I turn it the right way round again?
Press Ctrl+Z (or the undo button), or select the same part and press Reverse again.
Is my audio uploaded?
No. Reversing runs in your browser. The file is read from your device and saved back to it.
