When is mono better?
For a voice recorded with one microphone, a recording that is louder on one side, or a podcast people hear on a phone speaker: mono sounds the same on every speaker and in both ears, and a mono WAV is half the size.
Mix the two sides of a recording into one channel, keep only the left or the right, swap them, or fix a recording that leans to one side. It all happens in your browser, so the file never leaves your device.
