Compress Images in Bulk
Make every photo smaller than a size you choose, all at once, for a form, an email or a website. The photo editor does it in your browser, so nothing is uploaded.

How to Compress Many Images at Once
- Open the photo editor on the Batch tool and choose all your photos at once (JPG, PNG or WebP). Each one is listed with its size.
- Under Each under, type a size such as 500 and choose KB or MB. The editor picks the best quality for each photo that keeps it under that size.
- For even smaller files, also choose a smaller Size (a Long side of 1920 pixels is plenty for screens).
- Press Save ZIP at the top right. The editor works through the photos one at a time and saves them in one ZIP file, each with its own name; Stop stops it. With a single photo you get the photo itself.
Questions
What if a photo can't get that small?
It is saved as small as it goes, and the message after saving says how many didn't fit. A smaller Size helps.
What happens to PNG photos?
PNG has no quality setting, so to stay under a size they are saved as JPG. See-through parts turn white.
Can I compress without a size limit?
Yes. Leave Each under empty and set the Quality instead.
